This week was a lot of fun. We got to go on exchanges with the Fremont Sisters! Both Sister Black and I served there and we both don't understand why we loved it so much but we did and still do. I got to go with Sister Murakami from Japan. It was ever so much fun to see a few of the people again. It was also nice to get to go back to a few people I had taught before but had drifted away. As we were driving around I saw all the hills -flush and green... nothing like how they looked over the summer- I just felt like I wanted to run through them singing- Julie Andrews style. It was great.
This week Julie is getting baptized! I'm so excited! It's going to be great to see her in white. Last week I had gotten sick for a few days and because they were quite rainy we turned to updating our teaching tools. I wanted to make a poster of all the things that we as missionaries teach. We've had a few friends that are having a hard time committing just because they think that they have to know every little thing and have read the Book of Mormon 12 times before they can be baptized. -Not true. So we tried to simplify things. It was a great project for myself because I was able to focus on the scriptures a lot and actually make it all visual for myself. Being happy about what I created I showed it to "Grandma" she was blown away and talked about it for a whole nother week. -I felt like I was 6 again, showing off my stick figures and circles. :)
I'll post more about it later but I really did gain a deeper testimony of our Father's plan for us and the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If nothing else it helped me and ....grandma says I'm cool.
I love you, my friends!
and family... Hope you're not dead.
-Chelsea
