I almost feel like I am in Rand Mcnally....It's where they wear hats on their feet and Hamburgers eat people!
Teaching has been a little bit slow right now because we just got here but even so it is pretty good. Here in the south there is a lot of money so people aren't as open as missions in the north so we have to work hard. (the only real similarity to California) We walk to the end of the world and back in a day and for the first week or so we didn't have a real map (you would think they'd be everywhere considering the simulates to Rand Mcnally)
In a nut shell my first two weeks in Brazil:
The cockroaches are the lenth of my thumb.
My feet have blisters on all sides
I'm starting to get achne (something I've never had problems with)
I have a rash starting to run up my leg
I get bitten by everything that can bite
I still don't understand what is going on around me....
and yet... I've never been so happy to be anywhere in my life.
My life as always been a dycotmy... glad to see I am at least consistant.
Love to you all.
Keep smiling. It can only go up from here.
;)

PS. That big green thing we were holding in our hands before are avacados. ---I know... DAAAANG!
