Oi Amigo.

Really we are not allowed to have pets while we are on our missions but being something that I always had growing up, it's something that you begin to miss after a while. Luckily Brazil has extras to go around. Just about everyday I will walk by a dog- be it a lady or a tramp- and I lift my hand a littlebit as if to wave and say "oi amigo." --We've come to be friends with a veriety of hounds as they cross the streets or bark at us from behind fences. We've even come to give them names and adopt them as our own ...from a far. It's actually really nice because we don't have to worry about little things like feeding them, bathing them, or even petting them. None the less, they are ours. This is larry. He's pretty much awesome.

How are you? --My actual Amigos.---

This week was really good. Much better than the last. -Aside from the great flood that happened in other areas surrounding us. Some of the other Elders couldn't even leave their houses for a few days but we didn't really have it that bad.  -Yeah it rained a lot but we are pretty high up and all the rain watters just go into the ocean. In some areas it was up the your knees or even the waist. All I can say is sucks to be them. Finally the rains stopped and Saturday was the very first day of Sun Shine! We marked a weeding and ended up having a Baptism on the Beach.
