Hello everyone!

 

We had a very good day yesterday watching Conference. In Piçarras we had to travel to watch the telecast via Satellite. Being that I am in the same stake as my last area I got to go back to Balneário Camboriú It was great to be able to see my old friends. They had a room for English (that only the ward mission leader was watching) but I had to stay with the other missionaries so I watched it all in Portuguese. Yay. --Apostles use big words and it's annoying but I got out of it what I needed. ...I'll watch the rest when I get home. --Last week was a little up and down for me personally. I put in a request a while back to stay on the mission a little more time (like nearly everyone at home wanted me to do... geeze. didn't know you didn't like me that much that you wanted me to stay 4,000 miles away) haha but really, I wanted to in the begining. but the by the time it all came around I didn't know any more. It was still in process anyhow but I got the word that Salt Lake wanted me out of here. So, Dec 15, 2011, I will get on a plane and come home. It's still a mix of feelings but I'll go with it. The bad thing was that this week we had the last zone conference of my mission and 2 1/2 months from the actual end I had to give my "I'm going home" Testimony. Not the most fun of my day but that's life.

 

For today I'm still in Balneário doing some much needed consolation shopping before we head back this afternoon. :)
