We had to wake up extra early yesturday to be able to help some people get to church. It took a lot longer than we were wanting it to and in the end none of them came. It sad but normal sometimes. We ended up about an hour and a bit late for church. on the way we got a phone call first to know if everything was alright and then to ask if one of us could give the opening talk in Sacrement meeting. Why not? I said and we arived in time to have 10 min. to prepare. -Realy... I had nothing I was hot and sweaty but just in the nick of time inpiration struck and I was able to give a nice almost-good-enough-to-be-planed-in-advance talk. I was so tired after it all and the stress didn't help. We went and had lunch with a family after and then on to work. You know that sleepiness that you get after a good meal? Well we continued on our way and entered into a womans house. She sat us down in room on the couch with a the window and door opened... it had a nice breaze that came through and that was it. We sat down and I barely made it through the prayer. We started reading the scriptures with her and it just got fuzzy.....zzzzzzzzz..... I fought it.... every once in a while I would open my eyes and nod but then I was out again. It got better. My companion sister Fontes (the one who goes home the same day I do) couldn't take it either. But when she feel asleep, her head just started to roll around. Poor sister Santos had noticed and tried her best to keep the attention of the woman so she wouldn't notice. She continued on and ended it all with a prayer..... I woke up and elbowed Sister Fontes. We both stood up, thanked her for her time and said we would be back another day. As we were walking down the road we just couldn't believe that that had happend. We just walked down the dirt road laughing.
yeah. Pretty much the best moment of the day.
Hope you all are doing well. I tried to send a letter last week but it wouldn't go through. Sad day.
Anyway, I'm sure you all survived.
Love you!
