Hello family and friends!
There were a lot of Miracles this week. We have been teaching a man who knew that everything we taught was good and probably true but he was afraid to accept the invitation to follow the example of Jesus Christ and be baptized by someone who held the Restored Priesthood Power of God. He said he didn't want to make a promise that he couldn't keep... but that really wasn't it. We asked a little further and he ended up saying that he didn't want others to look at him differently because he joined the church. I was startled by his honesty. --We told him that no matter what, it was something that he needed to feel was right. We invited him to pray again and ask if he should be baptized. He said he would. His sister and Brother-in-law gave us a ride back home and then the next day his sister said that when they had gotten home he had already prayed and was crying because he knew that it was true. He wanted to follow the Savior's example.
We all have a road to take. The question is are we following our own road or the road that our Father in heaven wants for us?
I'm forever grateful for the decision I made almost 2 years ago to follow the road that my Father in Heaven wanted me to take and serve a mission.
