At the end of a successful mission the missionary has the privilege and opportunity to speak in church as a conclusion to their service. It is always a wonderful feeling to get to see all the people they know and love visit on this occasion and show their support.
For the visitors, it is well worth it just to see the missionary's face when they see the people there that love them.
This Sunday it is my turn.

It's the end...
It's the end of our story... the end...
Well not quite. I still have a little left in me.
I'm going to be speaking in Church this Sunday in good ol' Gilbert Arizona. I'll post the info on Saturday but until then plan on being there!

Yee-haw!!!
So Remember way back when, when I was telling you all about the wonderful attractions that my area has to offer?
"We've got Betto Correiro World! It's like disneyland with the Howdy Show written all over it. Classy."
Well, Sister Fontes has wanted to go there ever since she was a child. And I have to admit... I want to go just as bad as she does... We drive by it every week when we go to a meeting with other missionaries. The Giant Colorful Castle really catches your eye... And the statue of the cowboy up in the air on his wonder-horse in front just says 'you know you wanna!' Oh! if you only knew! It's the most well known attraction in Penha!
So we did it. We asked for permission. Everyone was saying that President would never let us and other things like that. We got to the point that we even though that he would be mad for even asking like it was a show-down and he would be the winner. But then we just decided to "bite the bullet" and 'hang for the 8 sec ride.' I sent an Email.... (I know a little cowardly but it was all the guts I had) This week I opened my letter to read that "Over the issue of Betto Carreiro World... I talked with Sister Fernandes and we decided that you could go on the condition that she goes with you. -Is that good?"
Is that good?! That's AMAZING! We were almost bouncing off the walls. -If we were in the howdy show we would be shooting our guns and doing a jig. -It was that much of a cool moment. So one of our dreams is going to be fulfilled. Everyone say YAY!
